Among thousands of VPNs in the industry, a few are simply better than the rest. And towering over them is none other than ExpressVPN! With fast speeds, robust security, and top-notch streaming capabilities, ExpressVPN is by far the best in class and a top choice for newcomers and veteran consumers, as confirmed in our ExpressVPN review.

Operating from the privacy-friendly jurisdiction of the British Virgin Islands, ExpressVPN has been delivering a premium service since its foundation in 2009. With an intuitive interface, multi-platform compatibility, and blazing-fast connection speeds, the VPN is designed to work great worldwide, and its millions of customers can easily vouch for that.

What can be a bit off-putting is its slightly higher cost. However, its exclusive limited-time 49% discount + 3 free months on its 12-month subscription makes up for the price, so anyone can own this best-in-class VPN provider.

While all this sounds quite appealing, it wouldn’t have been fair of us to label it as the best VPN provider for security, privacy, and unblocking by simply knowing what is ExpressVPN and without putting it through rigorous testing and evaluating it in the light of cold, objective reasons.

So, in our unbiased and detailed ExpressVPN review 2022, we test each feature and scratch out all vulnerabilities that come with this VPN to check if ExpressVPN is worth it and how it stands up against its competitors.

ExpressVPN Review:

Despite tough competition, ExpressVPN remains the #1 ranked VPN service as per our testing. The VPN offers user-friendly, feature-packed, and stable apps. It delivers fast speeds across the board, is backed with robust security and privacy features, and is absolutely the best for unblocking streaming platforms. In short, ExpressVPN is a quality VPN that performs exceptionally well in just about every area.

  • What’s New in ExpressVPN / Latest Updates in ExpressVPN

Editor's Note : Since our latest testing of ExpressVPN in early 2022, the following important updates have been made to the service.

June 2022: ExpressVPN announces its transition from 1Gbps to the new 10Gbps servers, which is a significant update to its capable infrastructure. Now, this means that you get much better speeds and reliable connections than they already were!

April 2022: The service is Beta testing ExpressVPN Keys – a robust password manager integrated within each ExpressVPN app (You’d require signing up as a beta tester on some platforms for this. Don’t worry, you won’t need to install a single thing).

March 2022: F-Secure Corp’s audit of ExpressVPN’s Windows app detected zero vulnerabilities. The cybersecurity firm issued a green signal to ExpressVPN users.

That’s not all. ExpressVPN has introduced a host of new features since our last evaluation. For example, Threat Manager is the latest privacy tool that blocks advertisements, trackers, and malware-infested websites. Currently, it’s available on Mac, Linux, and iOS, and is soon to release on other devices/operating systems.

Moreover, the Parallel Connections feature aims to speed up connecting to ExpressVPN in challenging environments. Previously, ExpressVPN’s apps used one method at a time while having multiple ways to establish a connection. But with Parallel Connections, the app can try all methods simultaneously, so you can get a successful connection within a second. The feature is available on iOS for now but will roll out on other platforms soon.

Some features have also been removed from the Windows apps, including IKEv2/L2TP protocols and the built-in speed test. Also, you can now delete your ExpressVPN account directly from the iOS app, unlike other companies that make it super-hard for users to cancel their accounts.
